The hearings of the Commissioners designate by the European Parliament will start on Monday, 11 January, in Brussels, and end on Tuesday, 19, in Strasbourg.

Hearings of the next European Comissionners
The hearings of the Commissioners designate by the European Parliament will start on Monday, 11 January, in Brussels, and end on Tuesday, 19, in Strasbourg.

The first Commissioners who are going to be heard will be Baroness Catherine Ashton, future High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Janusz Lewandowski, Commissioner designate for Budget and Financial Programming.

The last round will concern Cecilia Malmström, Commissioner designate for Home Affairs, and Maria Damanaki, Commissioner designate for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
